GastriX is a natural, dried supplement specially formulated for horses, ponies, and donkeys to help maintain and support a healthy and efficient digestive system. It promotes balanced pH levels, enhances optimum nutrient absorption, and supports horses that are on limited turnout or living in stressful environments. Additionally, GastriX complements your regular worming programme. It contains a blend of beneficial herbs, including Slippery Elm, Meadowsweet, and Cramp Bark, known for their supportive effects on digestive health.
In today’s fast-paced world, horses are often expected to perform at high levels, whether through rigorous training, frequent travel, or being fed concentrated protein diets. Not all horses are able to cope with these demands, and some may begin to lose condition, appear ‘tucked up,’ or struggle to thrive.
Why use it?
Natural digestive support supplement to help maintain healthy stomach and hindgut function, digestive balance, pH levels, and nutrient absorption. Helps reduce gastric ulceration and supports horses prone to colic. Contains Meadowsweet, prohibited under FEI and BHA regulations; a 96-hour withdrawal period is advised.
Ideally, horses should have regular access to turnout, allowing them time to relax and express natural behaviours. However, when they are subjected to pressure or environmental stressors, it can become difficult for them to maintain a balanced digestive system, sometimes with serious health implications.
In such situations, GastriX can be a valuable addition to your horse’s diet to help encourage and support digestive balance. It is also important to review and adjust areas of your horse’s management, where possible, to further promote a healthy and stable digestive system.
This product contains Meadowsweet classified as a prohibited substance under FEI and BHA regulations.
For those competing under FEI and other National and International regulations, a 96hr withdrawal period is advised. GastriX should be used with care to ensure cross contamination of feed equipment does not occur. Slippery Elm, Marshmallow Root, Meadowsweet, Cramp Bark, Milk Thistle Seed, Liquorice Root, Gotu Kola.
How do I use it?
Add to feed daily. Where possible, split the required amount across two feeds. A 50ml scoop is included in the bag and full instructions will be found on the packaging. Please allow up to a month for full benefits to be seen.
